John Gibson will cover the planting requirements and growing conditions of daffodils, tulips and hyacinths among others with a selection of specialist bulbs for sale.

Plants of the desert – an introduction to cacti and succulents
Mike Davey will illustrate the beauty of their flowers, spines and leaves, and provide tips on their cultivation and the establishment of a mixed plant collection to provide year-round interest.

Vice-Chairman of the National Vegetable Society, David Allison will entertain us and tell us how to grow and harvest a range of vegetables all year round.

Writer, broadcaster, former editor of Garden News and contributor to many other horticultural publications Geoff Hodge is not to be missed.

In addition there will be organised visits to gardens or places of Horticultural interest during Summer 2014, one of which will be to Kew Gardens. More details will be notified when available.
